Dr. Vikram Sarabhai and Mr. Satish Dhawan are founder and founding member of our space agency I.S.R.O.
India's ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) is a giant among space agencies of the world.
Almost 35% Indian Scientists work in U.S.A.'s N-A-S-A (National. Aeronautics. and. Space. Administration.) that means NRIs or Non Resident Indians or more precisely Indians are running or Indians run N-A-S-A.
India not only developed its own launch vehicles like PSLV, GSLV and ASLV but its own satellites also.
ISRO has also developed NAVIC means its own GPS system, satellite destroyer missiles or weapons A-Sat which can destroy any satellite in the space, world's highest resolution camera satellite CARTOSAT.
India is the fourth country to reach moon and has its own flag on moon in 2008.
India is the first country to reach Mars in its first attempt in 2014. Its cost is less than Hollywood movie Gravity. India's second moon mission Chandrayan 2 was also a landmark in Indian Space Science history.
India has many future projects like Mangalyan 2, Chandrayan 3, Aditya L1, own space station in space, Shukrayan means Venus mission, Gaganyan, sending humans in space and resusable space shuttle.

India has record achievement of launching 104 satellites in just one rocket or launch vehicle to space.
India has not only developed its own cryogenic engine for launching vehicle but its first supercomputer PARAM 10000 in 90's after denial of technology transaction or partnership project or collaboration of U.S.A. with India.
India did everything alone and has capabilities do anything alone and its own.
India launched 342+ satellites till date in which most of are foreign satellites
India is the world leader of launching other countries' satellites on the lowest cost.
