Paul-Agricole Génin: Carnaval de Venise, Op.14 (Soyoung Lee)

Of the professional recordings of this piece—that I can download and use—this particular recording by Soyoung Lee is the best. I think this piece is a little silly, but in the best way possible. As in: it's ridiculously difficult and technical, but I think the variations are a bit funny (esp. variation 8 at around 13:00). When I listen to it, I get the sense that Génin forged this piece on the anvil of a playful mood.

Good news: we're almost at 1,000 subscribers :D It's an arbitrary milestone, but I think it's worth pointing out!
