Originally this was Dr. Dre's song and there's an original solo version with him doing 2 verses and the outro. It was rumored to be Dr. Dre’s next solo single for his follow up album after The Chronic which was rumored to be called The Chronic II A New World Odor Poppa’s Got A Brand New Funk which never got released. When 2Pac heard the song he asked if he could have the song
