You are truly blessed. My 56 y/o sister has never had the level of success with medications you experience. I pray one day the standard of care helps all who are affected by this illness. Enjoy your life! Love your posts.

Your explanation of this phenomenon of treatment working while a person still has their symptomology is great. It's the best description ❤❤❤❤

This makes complete sense to me. My 53 yo brother has schizophrenia and his experience seems very similar to yours; without meds, basically cannot function in the real world at all. With meds; still talks to voices, has discussions/arguments/debates fairly regularly, but stops the minute he sees me and he’s able to get through his day just fine. He lives in a group home, but he still feels a sense of independence and is free to be part of community just like everyone else.

Your videos are helping me better understand what he has tried to explain to me in the past. Esp. the ones about the hallucinations being in your periphery. That’s exactly what he says!

I get you 💯 percent. I have skitz and bipolar and am on 10 medications but they help me live a semi normal life. I have a little boy that loves me. So you can lead a happy healthy life being with skitzoprnia and bipolor

Same here. My life was wild is the worst way before I got medicated. Life is good now, I have my episodes but I get through. Love your vids btw ❤

I'm starting to see that becoming financially free there still needs barriers in my life. Maybe to move to a vacation city and live in support. I'm not on meds but suspectable to the diagnosis. Sure becoming very healthy is a bonus. The symptoms rarely occur when in the right environment and physically wearing my body to sleep like baby. But it's true, being grounded a bit could feel better. We all need someone

Appreciate your voice in this 🔥💚🔥many ppl think medications jus stop all symptoms which turn a lot of ppl off of em when it doesnt. Did me for a bit. They cut down the "negative" symptoms that interfere w living & can sumtimes cut the frequency or duration time of episodes.

You are so amazing, thanks for sharing this. I have Bipolar II and it’s the same way. I will still go through depression and hypomania, but it is manageable and not dangerous to myself or others when I am on my meds and with effort on my part. Meds give me the basis to be able to cope.

My family is supportive to me, I swear. I'm on meds for about 6 years constantly taking it.

My symptoms are usually pleasant but distracting because I'm medicated. If I was not medicated they can get downright ugly

I've been asked this about my bi-polar episodes. I still have them despite taking the meds but they are kind of diluted and few and far between as opposed to life altering and often. X

I appreciate you talking openly and honestly about something so unfortunately stigmatized by society.

That's how medically treating my ADHD feels as well. It's not like all of the symptoms just go away completely, but they stop controlling my life.
