A legend of the last 60 years. One of the greatest arrangers/writers ever. Also a nice person.

He's left us an unparalleled legacy of great songs. To perform his songs is to marvel at their construction and to revel in the beauty and richness of those melodies and chord progressions.

Wonderful tribute, wonderful man. Thanks so much. The vocalist Rumer, does lovely covers of Burt's music.

While my first take on you, Crafty, was that you’re a rock and roller having a good time on Sing It Live. Turns out my first impression was severely lacking. Turns out you have a great reverence for the musical arts no matter the genre, and a love for all things musical. I love how you put forth your take on different artists. Can’t wait to see more content.

Hi! Will you listen to Johnny Burnette's "The Train Kept A-Rollin'" (1956)? The first distortion guitar in rock music.

Those weren't the right chords. It was unrecognizable. But a nice plug at the end for continued family royalties.
