Okay so I have never commented on any of these at all but I really appreciate all the work that went into these and especially this one because I got a 1:35:99 with this guide, literally tying the platinum after almost 3 hours. This was the final platinum I needed for crash 2, I got 1:35:05. Thank you so much for the guides. So happy to have 27/27 platinum relics

I did it by getting my third Aku Aku mask in the death route and just booking it afterward. I made a crudton of mistakes (which would be run-enders on other levels) and still got platinum (1:32:94). If I was going for a record or something I would do that and just iron out as many of the mistakes as I could.

I can't believe I got a Platinum Relic for this level today. Today I was only intending to get a better time for this level. And that was it. But after my times got better and better to the point where I was less than 10 seconds over the Platinum Relic time, I decided to take a look at what GarlandtheGreat did to get the Platinum Relic. I never considered taking the death route to be honest. But then I haven't taken the death route since I was required to in order to get that Clear Gem. It just never occurred to me that it would be faster.

But thanks to the Aku Aku invincibility, I was able to slide all the way to the end of the death route without dying. I unfortunately wasn't able to get invincibility again after the death route, as my current invincibility hadn't worn off yet. But it didn't matter. My time is 1:31:26, beating the Platinum Relic time of 1:35:99, as well as destroying my former best time 2:00:50.

This level and 'Sunset Vista' were the ones I was farthest from getting a Platinum Relic, apart from 'Stormy Ascent' where I haven't been able to get a relic yet at all. So I was surprised that I was able to get Platinum Relics for these two levels today. The reason I haven't obtained any relics for 'Stormy Ascent' yet is because I haven't managed to make it to the end of the level without dying. If I could make it to the end of the level without dying, I would at least have a Gold Relic for that level as of writing this.

Just gone back to the Nsane trilogy to grab all the plat relics for some reason I only decided to get gold on most, but this was for me by far the hardest platinum relic in all 3 games and I have no clue why finally managed this at a time of 1:31.57 but it took soo soo long 😂

For anyone looking for a guide now, the Death Route is considerably faster after you get through it, since taking the death route gets you 4 masks. You can wait at the start of the final area after coming through the death route for your first invincibility to wear off, then take another invincibility, and it's a significant time advantage. With this strategy, I achieved a time of 1:27:12 and I was slow going through the portal room. Hope this helps somebody!

Just so ya know the death route is much easier as lo g as you dont get hit since there a 3rd mask in there

Damn even Crash 4s time trials are a joke compared to this level, crash 2s levels just weren’t made for time trials like they don’t flow right

This level is fucking broken on PS4. The game goes into a massive lag spike the moment you grab the clock at the start of the level and your inputs don't register, making the first jump the hardest part in the whole level. Simply unreal. Consoles, not even once.
