ART DECO CARS

A few cars from the days when form was definitely more important than function. This is the 1920s and 30s idea of what the future would look like. All of the images in this photo montage have been sourced from the public domain. The Post Moderne look is a style of Art Deco that hits you in the face.

To this Frenchman the best styling, hands down, is that of the Cord. I especially like the 810 convertibles.

These are the Streamline Moderne version of Art Deco - just wanted to point that out. - Personally, I prefer the cleaner, tighter lines of the teens and twenties Art Deco styling.
