I mean, I like your face, but I like the things you say more. I have ADHD and depression that wasn't diagnosed until I was an adult, because of the depression. To everyone who has trouble starting or finishing things, an exercise really helped me was completing crossword puzzles. I started with easy ones for kids and sat there until I finished it, and now I do the New York Times in pen. Something about finishing a puzzle, especially difficult ones clicks something in my brain and pushes me to finish other things. When I come across other difficult things, like learning trading, I can break it down into smaller "clues and answers" and feel accomplished when I get one, and it's another piece of the "puzzle."

Work hard and work smart at the same time. The meaning to life is to live... But most don't even do that. They don't truly live... They survive. They wait. They make up this false belief that one day will come.

My dad used to say "good things come to those who wait."
Now I know he was wrong. It should be "good things come to those who put in the work for what they want, and have patience for it to happen as it won't happen over night".

Maybe I've taken the poetry out of the saying, but at least it's accurate

I've been teaching myself to trade for about one year now. Completely self taught - learning from various YouTube videos etc. I've lost a shit ton of money, but that was at the start of my journey and I guess I was over trading and being a general dumbass. I'm down to my last few hundred bucks now, but you know what, I haven't blown my account. That for me is my biggest positive. I'm still in the game and I refuse to quit. I've no idea if/when I finally start hitting consistent profits, but I'm damned if I'm gonna quit now. I have no other choice but to continue. One day I'll have that break through.
