Schinias is 50 km from the center of Athens and if you have a car you will need about an hour to get there.
The beach of Schinias is especially popular for summer baths.
It is located at the northeastern end of the plain of Marathon and has one of the largest beaches in Attica.
It has a very large area, perhaps the largest in Attica, and is located literally at the edge of a lush pine forest, whose trees reach the beach.
In many places the beach is organized, but the best place for peace and relaxation is north towards the end, where the landscape is impressive and suitable for walking.

The peninsula of Kinosura is a narrow and completely rocky "nose", which the ancient inhabitants of the area resembled the dog tail.
It penetrates to a length of almost 3 km in the area of the Southern Evia gulf.
Although surrounded by extremely rocky shores, the tip of the peninsula is passable. It is very difficult to cross and is aimed at hikers with comfort in difficult fields.

Ο Σχινιάς απέχει 50 χλμ. από το κέντρο της Αθήνας κι εάν διαθέτεις αυτοκίνητο θα χρειαστείς περίπου μία ώρα για να φτάσεις.
Η παραλία του Σχοινιά είναι ιδιαίτερα δημοφιλής για καλοκαιρινά μπάνια.
Βρίσκεται στο βορειοανατολικό άκρο του κάμπου του Μαραθώνα και διαθέτει μία από τις μεγαλύτερες παραλίες της Αττικής.
Έχει πολύ μεγάλη έκταση, ίσως τη μεγαλύτερη στην Αττική, και βρίσκεται κυριολεκτικά στην άκρη ενός κατάφυτου πευκοδάσους, του οποίου τα δέντρα φθάνουν έως την παραλία.
Σε πολλά σημεία της η παραλία είναι οργανωμένη, αλλά το καλύτερο μέρος για ησυχία και χαλάρωση είναι βόρεια προς το τέλος της, όπου το τοπίο εντυπωσιάζει και προσφέρεται για περπάτημα.

Η χερσόνησος της Κυνόσουρας είναι μια στενή και εντελώς βραχώδης "μύτη", που οι αρχαίοι κάτοικοι της περιοχής προσομοίασαν με την ουρά σκύλου ("κυνός ουρά").
Εισδύει σε μήκος σχεδόν 3 χλμ. μέσα στο χώρο του Νότιου Ευβοϊκού κόλπου.
Αν και περιβάλλεται από εξαιρετικά βραχώδεις ακτές, η ακμή της χερσονήσου είναι βατή. Η διάσχισή της είναι ιδιαίτερα δύσκολη και απευθύνεται σε πεζοπόρους με άνεση σε δύσκολα πεδία.
