About me:
My name's Paige and I am in my second year studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I am a member of Jesus College and make regular vlogs of my day to day life at uni, including lectures, supervisions, and social activities.

They introduce tensors ... in their first year.


Some of the recommended textbooks in part IA/IB (1st/2nd year) are graduate level textbooks ... so hats off to Paige and all other Natsci students!

First year, prioritising a tad more on socialising and building up your university social network so that as you get busier in year 2 and 3 you can still maintain those social ties well.


Year two, going full on academic overdrive, trying to interconnect everything that has been taught and apply them in labs and exams. Get a good grade and self-evaluate what to improve next year in terms of grade improvement. stress levels and socialising.


Year three, learning from year one and two going full turbo on academia in saving your degree, whilst also able to socialise to mitigate the stress from academia. Actualising work-life balance for grad school and work out in the society.


I am about to start first year in uni after a resit. I have watched almost all of your videos, yet I have a gut feeling that we humans are going to make the same mistakes as our seniors one had. But what I can do is to make the most out of 3 years in university, for that first class honours, lifelong friends that you may find in your field, the amazing city of your university and adulting in the span of three years.

Hi Paige, just wanted to drop in and say thanks, not only for your advice regarding Cambridge admissions, but also the massive inspiration that your vlogs of life at Cambridge have been! Oxbridge can often seem somewhat unattainable for many sixth formers, but your videos really helped to assure me that I would fit right in! and I'm glad to say that, despite my terrible interviews and the trauma that is German A-Level, I've secured a place at Fitzwilliam college (so pleased with my 4 A*s)!

So thanks again for everything, and congrats on your 2.1 (I know I'm a bit late!), that's a fantastic grade!

I highly recommend learning Python! It is definitely one of the easier programming languages to start with, and one of my favorites. Such a shame they cancelled it. Anyway, looking forward to your 3rd year vlogs already!

You are so refreshing Paige! 😍 I enjoy watching your vlogs from Switzerland. When I was around 18 (now I am almost 51😉 but still feeling young) I spent 9 months in beautiful Cambridge. I attended a language school. I got to know some university students from different colleges such as St John's, St.Catherine's also Jesus College and so on. It was a wonderful time.
