One of the more interesting structures at Chichen Itza is "El Caracol," the observatory made by the Maya for astronomical purposes. What were they looking for?

I went to Chichen Itza last year. You always see the image of the Pyramid (El Castillo) but there's sooo much more there to see. It really feels like a city

I never realized how much of an Indiana Jones villain you looked until I saw this short. The round specs sell it. Love your stuff.

That structure even looks like a modern observatory.

An absolutely amazing place. It’s easy to travel to and a beautiful example of Mayan architecture. I also recommend Tikal in Guatemala but maybe not everyone’s comfort zone.

you've been traveling widely and making lots of short videos. Are there longer, more in depth videos in the works involving the history at these sites?

Sir, I have discovered your channel today only, I immediately subbed and have been binging your videos since.
I am interested in history of Indian subcontinent, can you please suggest good material to read? There is a lot of pseudoscientific claims regarding this, it's hard to find good academic sources about the topic.
And do you know about book "Early Indians" by Tony Joseph, what's your views on that?

WOA, I need to go off topic here. I have been looking at the Gosford Glyphs. They are Egyptian hieroglyphics located in New South Wales Australia. There are many theories around these hieroglyphs, including Egyptologists from Egypt that state these are genuine. There are boomerangs in the Cairo museum that suggest a connection to Australia which I find hard to believe. Have a look WOA, I can provide you with links if you wish.

What is your opinion of Neanderthals. We just discovered that we lived together with them 12 thousand years earlier. So we lived together with them for around 40 generations I will nkt accept the idea that we only had some jewelry and stone tools for all that time. Its interesting to think that there where kingdoms and emperors in the stone age and that the oldest sculptures of volumous woman with braids where emperors in this swampy cold and jungle period of history like you now only have in South America and Papua new Guinnea. My qeustion is what are your thoughts on gobelki Tepe the oldest city do you have permission to look at that site? Because its ofcourse a very recent finding that still needs to be fully excavated. I dont know if the archeologists are fueled with corruption like some gyptian archeologist maybe because of Erdoghan the president now of turkey or that they are just as democratic and get all the freedom to interpret and share it in what they can decipher and study. I have huge love for you because your always yourself and you love the work you do wich translates into what you give to us the people that know less about archeology or are also working partly or fully in the field :D.
