by the way, the sun thing Crainer was talking about is that when the sun is towards the north (northwest/northeast), you're in the southern hemisphere. if the sun is towards the south (southwest/southeast), you're in the northern hemisphere. if it's almost exactly going west/east then you're around the equator. if you can't see the sun (because of clouds or other objects blocking the view, then don't rely on this strategy)

geoguessr has a built-in compass at the top, and sometimes in the corner too.
