This morning I had a song pop into my head; Halfway Hotel by Voyager 1979 (UK). So I play it on Youtube, then this song came on by the autoplay. Wow. Bloody amazing. I have spent the last few hours listening to some of their other music. All killer, no filler. Just found my new favourite band. Made my day!

What a fucking great band. This is the best metal I've heard in over 20 years, hands down. Really skilful songwriting combined with impressive technical prowess; a very rare occurrence indeed.

This entire album is a MASTERPIECE. I rarely say that about any albums in the 21st century, but they did it. Every song is perfectly crafted and they all fit together flawlessly. Their other albums are good, but on this one they took it to that next level of brilliance that few bands seem to possess in this day and age.

Wow, only discovered these guys yesterday. They really are extremely good songwriters. It's so difficult to write something that sounds original, technical and tuneful - such a fine balance, which these guys seem to have mastered at every turn. Goddamn!

Okay new Voyager fan here discovered them on eurovision. completely fallen in love with the colours album. Keep staying away from the early stuff because I’ve heard two that I thought were really cheesy! I’ve just given this a go and I have never known goosebumps like it listening to those opening notes. Eyes to the back of the head! Well….. actually I remember feeling like this with the Type O Negative album October Rust and then I found out that Voyager are huge typo fans!!! Just those opening chords have got me excited to delve further……
