When it comes to summer touring tires, you can't go wrong with those ones! Which one will you choose? Michelin? Bridgestone? Yokohama or Goodyear?

The Bridgestone turanza quiettrack is the noisiest loudest tire I have ever owned. We used a decibel meter and it was almost to 85. 85 means you have to wear ear plugs. I never have taken a tire back in my life but this one had to go.

I like the Yokohama AVID Ascend GT out of those...deepest tread and best wet performance.

Family member drove 10 miles slowly to the nearest town on a flat Bridgestone tire that a nail had punctured. The side wall was still in good shape! Bridgestone makes excellent tires.

Thanks and Great Review!... After trying several different “Top Rated” tires over the years, NOT ONE has come close to the first Michelins I tried about 8-9 years ago!... I now drive a Ford Edge Sport and following a quick chat with a Michelin rep and your review, I went for the new Primacy Tour for my 22” suv sport wheels. WOW!!! Amazingly quiet and what a SMOOTH ride!!! Michelin has definitely found the perfect compound for tires. They handle amazingly yet stay quiet and give a feel during my highway commutes of almost floating comfort while still feeling the gripping traction to the road... even during heavy rain! Will update later when the winter weather hits. Michelin Primacy Tour is worth every penny you may pay over the competition!... Almost perfection

No Bridgestones for me. We had them as OEM tires on a car and the tires were horrible nail magnets. Replaced 8, yes 8 Bridgestones. Switched over to Michelin with no problems, same location, same driving patterns just no flats.

Didja know Charles Goodyear invented (discovered) vulcanization? But, he never worked at Goodyear. They just usurped his name and used it because they could and it confused many into thinking they were part of Goodrich. A law suite ensued to no avail. And for the rest of the story: BF Goodrich is owned by Michelin today. The Goodrich Company does aerospace etc still but does not make tires. Yes, you can buy a tire with BF Goodrich on the sidewall still because Michelin bought the name.

Good It always depends on the tire and your vehicle and purpose. There is no best brand . Other than the big major players. I love the Bridgestone Turanza for my purposes. .. One thing I fail to understand is why people cheap out on a tire purchase? Its the most important thing on the car other than brakes.

My 2015 accord came with the Michelin Primacy tires, great tires. When I had to buy new tires, got the Bridgestone Turanza, also a great tire.

I buy my tires at Costco. I was going to buy the Bridgestone Turanza Quiettrack. After speaking with the sales guy I bought the Michelin Premier instead--quitter, better grip of the road, better breaking, quieter (but maybe slightly shorter lived). About the same price (after rebates etc)

I just purchased set of Bridgestone Alenza plus 285/45/R22 from costco fir 2018 Escalade ESV and they are superior and quieter to the regular Alenza. Plus there was an instant $150 off in the set.

The yokohama ascent is the loudest car tire I have ever owned. It's almost as loud as the mud tires on my truck. I have never been so disappointed in a tire purchase to the degree that I am going to take a big loss and replace them with less than 10k miles on them.

I went with Ascend LX. Only $115 a tire. On way to install. Over 70k warranty was better than the GT.

Great content as I just subscribed.
On my 07 Lincoln MKZ with 225-50R-17 in a all season tire. Which of the 2 makes of tires will give me the best traction and quiet ride / comfort. The Continental Extreme or the Michelin Defender?
