I bought a 2022 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition I love the spacious cab and the utility of the vehicle. It’s smooth and quiet. It’s a great daily driver when navigating in today’s parking lots. I see myself keeping the Ridgeline for many many years.

Purchased the Ridgeline. It's all about the ride & creature comforts.

Ridgeline has a bigger, wider bed. Bigger interior. Better ride. The Tacoma looks cool with the big tires, but is really in need of a complete redesign.

I have a Ridgeline and it’s great. I wouldn’t go off Roading with either truck. anybody that takes a 50, 000+ unit off road where I go with my ATV you’re gonna need a paint job after you come back. and by the way, the ATV will out perform both trucks, and if I get stuck ATV weighs 1000 pounds the truck weighs 5000 pounds good luck getting that out.

Ridgeline. Best of both worlds. Upscale SUV driving experience with truck capabilities.

Not sure why reviewers compare these 2 vehicles. One is a city truck and one is more of an off roader. I think if I was in the mountains or want to look cool Tacoma. If I want to cruise around the city with small jobs or be comfortable Ridgeline. I think they are both great it just depends what you are looking for.

For nearly everything an average truck does, the Ridgeline is not only better, it’s far superior. For off road, the Tacoma is way better. RL has no low range and is basically a car. But again, for most people, the RL will make them happier. RL: lockable waterproof trunk, bed speakers, way better ride and handling, way better interior space, better MPG, way better in inclement weather (AWD vs on demand part time 4wd in the Taco).

Ridgeline for that w. Not sure why alot of people hate the unibody, pretty sure if given the chance between a chevy avalanche or cadillac escalade ext they will still say it ain't a truck. Manufacturer put it out as a truck the title from the dmv says its a truck then I'm pretty sure it's a truck.

I HAD a '21 Tacoma sr5. I traded it in for a '23 black edition ridgeline. While not apples to apples I am so much happier with the ridge line for many (if not all) the reasons mentioned in this video. The one thing that sucks in both of them is the sound system.

Ridgeline seems better in every way except if you want to do heavy off roading as the aftermarket support and capabilities will be greater on Tacoma. But for a daily driver, the Ridgeline wins in literally every department.

This is everything I need to know. I have a Tacoma now, which is great, but need a new truck soon. I don't drive off road at all. Have a little snow in the winter. The Honda with its AWD will work fine. When I buy, I'm going ridgeline after watching this video. Thank you for your time and fair comparison.

I went out one Saturday morning to find and buy a nice low mileage Tacoma. After test driving a fine Taco at the dealer, I parked next to a Ridgeline, which I really hadn't considered before. I said to the sales lady, "what the hell, let me drive this one." An hour later I took the Ridgeline home. Except for the rock crawling, which I never do, there's no real comparison. The Ridgeline is faster, handles way better, rides way better and has tons more cab room. Oh, and I regularly get 28 mpg on the highway too. Throw in the 500 lbs. of extra payload and the "trunk" and you'll never look back. And your backseat passengers will thank you.

I do not need an off road truck to get me to Home Depot or any other supply house. Ridgeline everyday. I use my truck for real everyday work projects. Not play.

If i lived in a remote/rural/ mountainous area that required me to drive "off road" then def the Tacoma. For everything else Ridgeline.

I presently drive a 2021 Ram "Classic" 4X4 quadcab with the 3.6L and I'm satisfied but if I would have to pick one of those two to replace the Ram, it would be the Ridgeline without hesitation. 😎 I must say that for "look" wise, I prefer the Tacoma.

I have an 2008 Ridgeline. Best vehicle i have ever owned. Recently been looking at a Tacoma but when i compare the 2, Ridgeline is everything I need.

Drove both a few times, frontier is too narrow inside, tight, box is small and narrow. RL much more spacious, comfortable and box is wider and longer. Ridgeline all the way.
