Despite all thankful comments this video will not solve the most usual problem - the loose cork. If the cork is loose, you should see your flute repairman to change or tighten your headcork, as high notes will not play. Every cleaning of the head will potentially ruin the intonation. You can diy, and this channel should help you how to do it

If I loosen or tighten the cork the line doesn’t change it’s too high how do I fix it?

My cork is too tight. Very well sealed!! But I need to move it a liitle bit to be perfect in tune. My flute was recentlty repaired including a new cork. I unscrewed the crown a bit and I pushed but it's too hard sealed. I made pressure over the crown on a table with a soft cloth under it but I was afraid if I make some kind of damage to the headjoint tube too.

My cleaning rod has 3 lines,
And when i placed it inside it shows 2 lines at the edges
Im trying to make the middle line at the middle
But im trying so hard to pull it but i cant

I was cleaning my head joint with a plastic rod and gauze supplied with my flute and accidently made a circular scratch on the cork plate. Will this affect my instrument and has this happened to peoples flutes before? I'm trying to take really good care of it but I'm not perfect. Its a student flute Yamaha 222.

Since the distance from cork to hole centre is not supposed to change, why is it even tunable?
