I am from and still living in Sacramento for 54years. I never heard of this song or the band until two years ago. I was confused watching a Scottish band, in the Netherlands, sounding like ABBA singing about my hometown in California! I am not a fan of the sound. I don’t like ABBA either. But I have to admit it makes me smile and laugh every time it comes up in my YouTube recommendations. Because what they sing about Sacramento is pretty spot on.
