VEGAS PRO Empty Events are seldom spoken about. I have had no idea what they're actually used for until I came across some suggestions on the Editor's Hub page on Facebook.

I usually using it for 'marking' the distance in case I need to insert something later like Vegas Effects project, but the best case for me where I usually using it is inserting VEGAS Timecode to Empty Event. For this one, it is always works for giving a preview to client where I usually do.
When the time comes as the video approved, then I just hide that track contains this empty event.

Empty events are great for interviews in general. especially if you have to edit in other clips. Great to mark section without having to use a million markers.

Will a R7 5700g with 32MB 3200mhz RAM be able to give smooth timeline performance ? On a mere i3 6100 Vegas pro timeline scrubbing with 4K GH5 footage is slight sticky and with effects added we need to go to DRAFT > QUARTER to see the video without dropping frames, during renders it uses the processor 100%, but when timeline scrubbing etc its not using the processor more than 20-50% at max and the IGPU is at 7-10% while its stuttering, then why stutter, OS and all the media is on NVME and SSD that too. What gives ? I only want better timeline performance....so will my 5700g work at least twice better than this i3 ? Your comment will help as i need to upgrade now.
