No doubts, a good way of growing and saving your money is through investing . You don't need to have much before you can invest. "That little money you have now can make you millions if you invest it wisely". I wasnt financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing is a grand choice I made..

Saving $1's or $5's becomes a habit after a while. I haven't spent a single $5 bill since May of last year when I decided to save $5's for my vacation fund!

Sometimes canned foods are cheaper at other stores than dollar stores so be careful for that also ex. Is tomato paste you can get it for 48 cents at Walmart or 42 cents at Aldi and it would be 1.00 at dollar tree... Sometimes it's cheaper sometimes its not

I like to make some kind of game out of No 7. I would write the numbers from 1 to 52 on 52 pieces of paper and put them into a jar. Then each week i randomly pick one of those numbers and save the amout that is written on it. That way I don‘t have to save more than 200€ in December.

I definitely realized that I had more money than I thought. My budget was leaky and once I focused on saving, I was able to stop wasting small amounts. Those small amounts really added up !

Love all these ideas. In Australia our $1 and $2 are gold coins. People save all there gold coins during the year and they buy a piece of new furniture with it. Gold coin challenge. 😃😃😃😃

Just do the zero based budget. Assign every dollar to a job before you get a paycheck. I always create a new budget every year and it’s so easy to save.

“ it’s not about how much you save, it’s the fact that you are saving” I like that you said that. As a recovering spender, the fact that I am going from $5 in my savings account to $50 in my savings accounts right now maybe be sad to other people but it’s a win for me.

My spare change is never scattered around the house- I carry a penny pouch in my handbag. Every Sunday I empty the coins in my pouch into a big glass bottle. Coins equal money.

I like to save all my loose change in addition to all my $5 bills. I do doordash and uber on the side so whenever I get a cash tip, it automatically goes to the savings stash. It is motivating to me.

For the 52 week challenge, I did it in reverse - started with $52 the first week and went down a dollar every week. It was easier this way bc in Jan. you may have money you got for the holidays and there is less to do when it's cold. As well, it hurts less in December when you may want to buy gifts for people. I am saving my 52 week money for a future trip abroad. I also saved enough from every paycheck this year to max out my IRA contribution. (For me that is $271 each check.) It seemed like I had no spending money at first, but I adjusted very quickly and now have a lot to show for it. :)
