I’m so pleased the writers have finally decided to sink their teeth into something that taps into the quality acting of these two. I think they are doing a good job portraying different perspectives. I know everyone is disappointed with Pam’s reaction but I actually find it realistic. She too has pain and regret she must contend with and was speaking her truth. I would like to go a little deeper into why it seems Callum is unfazed by his own battering. Does it tie into his abuse by his father? I would like this explored because the way he shook it off is a bit odd.

Ben is always so ready to chuck it in. I could not deal with that type of mentality in a relationship. That said these two are the only reason I watch this programme.

Okay, I’m putting this out there. If Phil was smart… he’d realize that his son has been compromised and is in NO STATE to run the ship. His son would run the ship aground and destroy whatever foundation was there. Phil’s best bet… Callum. He was in the military. He seems to keep it together. AND…. He’s in a position where he would get the best intel. If anyone can keep the Mitchell business afloat. It’s Callum. And I’m hoping the writer’s explore that since I haven’t gotten to part where Ben has to flee the country yet. And I feel it would be a brilliant dichotomy to the story arc. It would make sense. Callum is DEVOTED to Ben. Which suggests he would run the ship and keep the business going till Ben’s return.
