Unity2020 Ballot Access Plan

Here is our ballot access plan! Bret Weinstein explains it clearly, in this 4-min video. Our plan can give us access to all 50 states. It does not require us to meet filing deadlines. And it does not depend on write-in candidates.

Share this with your friends and family, to help build the groundswell we need!

Get on Rogan again with Tulsi/Crenshaw.

As a liberal, I would have voted for Tulsi in a heartbeat. So would the Republicans I asked. Yet MSNBC chose Biden, then MSNBC has the nerve to tell me that, “..this is a vote between good and evil.”
Miss me with this nonsense. Unity2020 is the only sane option I see right now.

Wow... this is just crazy enough to work... I've got nothing to lose, I'm in!

Thank you Bret. Hey, somebody should be aware that the Articles of Unity channel is not listed on the Bret Weinstein channel in the featured channel section. Only the DarkHorse Podcast Clips channel is listed there.

Love that you are trying to do something. I only wish you had started in February

Don't forget to ask the Constitution and Alliance Parties. They also have ballot access.

This needs a social media push to get recognition

There is actually a lot to be gained here for the Libertarian and Green parties.
In 2016, between 3 and 4 % of people voted the Libertarian ticket of Johnson/ Weld, leaving them short of the 5% that is needed to gain public funding. If they were to give their ballet access to the #Unity2020 ticket, it is absolutely the best shot of exceeding their parties best voting numbers.

I voted for Johnson in 2016 but if #Unity2020 doesn't come to fruition, I'm voting Trump.

Fight the good fight, Unity2020! "We are the ones we've been waiting for". 💪

At the point you have enough momentum to convince one of these parties to give up their seat on the ticket you probably don't need it anyway. Admittedly I don't know too much about them but my hunch is that both the Green and Lib parties are political parties first, just like the Dems and GOP, and as bureaucratic institutions I don't see their incentive here.

Yes!! Great job to Bret and all the hard working patriots stepping up! I’ll do everything in my power to help save our republic. ❤️🤞

I also want to thank you Brett, Heather, and Benjamin Boyce. I am a progressive and your channels has attracted concern people across the spectrum.

Despite Libertarian and Progressive differences, if they become the dominant parties our nation would actually have more honest civilized debates, and good ideas. The only thing I worried about was how they would compromise and work together. But I see possibilities and potentials.

This is not a plan, it is a Hail Mary from our own end zone. No chance the Libs or Greens give up their ballot access. If this was the plan, then all we were doing was gaining support for Bret's plan so we could give it a real shot in 2024. We need to start January 2023 gather signatures and approaching candidates to see if they would be responsive if drafted. Then draft from a list of people that actually will run if drafted.

"We are the ones we have been waiting for."

Damn right!

I support this 100%. But please explain-Tulsi pledged not to run 3rd party. How do you approach a 3rd party without pledged unity2020 candidates?

Just curious: how close to being a) Patriotic; b) Capable; and c) Courageous are the current nominees of the Libertarian/Green parties? If these parties already have declared candidates that meet our criteria, why not simply vote on which party to throw the collective support of Unity2020 behind? We can still vow to pull the plug if the polls end up not reflecting a reasonable chance of success. If we're serious about how desperate the current situation is, simply joining one of these parties seems way more likely to succeed than asking them to join us. Granted, this wouldn't have the effect of a 'balanced' ticket; but beating the duopoly in itself wouldn't be a bad consolation prize to build on.

I don’t know which is less likely. Your candidates joining or these third parties giving you their ballot access.

Bret, I assume you have already talked this over with the other 3rd parties, right? It sounds like your plan depends on them sacrificing for your idea. If they choose to ignore you, where does that leave Unity2020? Dead in the water? Tell me, how many people actually voted Sunday Night? How many people even know about this? Yes, I know you're hoping this gains momentum, but how much has it grown since you mentioned this back on the Rogan Podcast?

This might have been relevant 6 months ago, before the supporters of these two parties (and small donation funders, at least for the Greens, not sure about the Libertarians) picked their candidates, and spent their donations getting ballot access and fighting legal battles. At the risk of being called a "detractor, " I don't see a path forward that is likely or reasonable, if your whole plan is expecting everyone else to sacrifice for your benefit. I thought there were pathS--emphasis on multiple?

Supposing it was even possible for a party to substitute their candidates, i.e., have the ballots contain Unity2020's candidate. Unity2020's real ask is:

1 party to to replace their candidates in all 50 states and 1 party to remove themselves from the ballot in all 50 states. Why is this the case?

We don't vote for candidates, we vote for the party's electors. The **party** has to get the plurality of votes (the largest percent of votes) so they can send their electors to vote for their candidate.

Assume both the Green and Lib's put up Unity2020 ticket in CA with the following results:
Dem=25% +1 vote
Rep=25% - 1 vote,
Green=25%,
Lib=25%.

Even though 50% of the state voted for the Unity2020 ticket, CA's EC votes go to Biden because the Dems received the most of all the parties running.
