Correction I meant E Lydian not Phrygian on Safri Duo
(Not that it matters)

Also it's really Jamie Principle that should be credited with Your Love, though the Frankie Knuckles release popularised it, it is more of an edit/ new production. All of the musical elements including the arp are Mr Principles my bad for missing that

I would love to see a video or a little mini series of videos in which you talk about some of the fundamental principles of approaching music.
Like for context, I like how you break down the purpose of instruments in any given song (like in this video you mentioned Arps act as a way to affect the tension).
Because as a beginner to music production, it’s helpful to know what I should be trying to do and ask myself at any given part of the song. And I really like your framework for how to do so.

Been in a lull for inspiration but this channel makes me feel like I'm hearing these iconic tracks from my youth for the first time again. Love it.

And now I've got to go listen to Barber's Adaggio for Strings by William Orbit after that tease at the end. Solid video, always like a good arp!

I really like your tutorials. Thank you very much for many who cannot acquire this knowledge.

Hate to be that guy, but "Your Love" was written and originally produced by Jamie Principle, he was the on who chose to have a sustained VI throughout 😉

Ahh. Been missing a lot of you content of late. This just popped up in the feed and by goodness it is excellent and have missed it. You take this to another level.
Have a coffee. You deserve it.

This was absolutely brilliant. Love how you always break it down. I was actually sad when you said that’s all I have time for.

Thank you so much for sharing so much knowledge with us. You have inspired and helped me become a better music producer (although it's a hobby and not a job), a more knowledgeable and humble human being. Words cannot express my appreciation as you've given me the courage to actually take a risk and publish some of my (albeit unpolished) work, I want to document in a way my own journey and development of skill and technique. Thank YOU

When I first got into polymeters and started my research, I ended up getting into geometry. This improved my approach.
