Mylos beach, Lefkada

Milos se ubraja u najlepše plaže na Lefkadi i nalazi se tik uz mesto Agios Nikitas. Do plaže Milos možete doći taxi brodićem koji kreće sa gradske plaže ili pešice, a za to će vam biti potrebno 20-30 minuta u zavisnosti od brzine hoda.

Ukoliko se odlučite da idete peške, treba da znate da je put mestimično strm zato što je u pitanju uska staza u koju su u jednom delu uklesane stepenice, a postoje i naporniji usponi. Sve u svemu put nije savršen za hodanje po jakom suncu, ali za one hrabrije i ljubitelje prirode može predstavljati uživanje jer se sa puta pruža predivan pogled na plažu i more.

Plaža je okružena visokim strminama pa iako velika, deluje ušuškano i izolovano od svega što pridonosi uživanju.

I na obali i u vodi je sitan šljunak bele boje te je i more svetlo plavo i mlečno kao i na drugim poznatim plažama na Lefkadi. Milos nije uređena plaža, pa je neophodno da sa sobom ponesete svoju opremu. Široka je i dugačka i obično bez gužve.

Mylos is among the most beautiful beaches on Lefkada and it’s located next to the place called Agios Nikitas. You could reach the beach by a taxi boat which starts from the local beach, and the ticket costs 6e in both directions. Second option to come here is to walk and that could take 20-30 minutes, depending on the walking speed.

The road is steep in some places, in fact that is a narrow path with a partially engraved stairs, and there are also ups. The road is not perfect for walking in sun, but for the braver ones and the lovers of the nature this could be enjoying, because from the road the view of the sea and the beach is amazing.

There is small, white gravel on the coast and in the water so the sea is light blue and milky like on the other famous beaches on Lefkada. Mylos is not organized beach, therefore it’s necessary to bring your own equipment. It is wide and usually not crowded.
