Installing a Kolpin Switchblade Snow Plow Onto My ATV

Successful Installation of the Kolpin SwitchBlade Kolpin Atv Snow Plow
Kit included everthing i needed, took some time to install as I am a newbie and di need to get help from my Buddy Brad to intall the undermount. i had to remove the Plastic skid palates, there were 3 of them

I bought / installed the same Kolpin 48-60 universal plow on my ATV 2011 Arctic Cat 550 TRV (2-Up). Instructions stated 45-60 minutes to assemble the blade. I started at 8:30 AM, had 1.5 hour lunch and completed at 2:30 PM. Yes. That long - with a large cup of coffee and my reading glasses. Retired people with bad knees/hips take longer time. smiles. For my ATV's under belly, I used 4 x U-Bolts and 2x2 hard wood spacer. And I cut off the tips of extra long U-Bolt threads as well. During its install I did add a few more flat washers and greased its swivel points. All installed "as it should" and very happy with its looks, with its ease of angle change and with its safety tilt ability. It's worth buying "on sale". Recommend this adjustable plow...

Installed this on a 99 Yamaha big bear 350, same thing with the universal mount under the atv. Hit the tires first. Got mine from CT as well (and in Ontario as well). Haven't used it yet but it was nice to see an amateur install even if I already installed mine. Looks like it worked good for ya too.
