The8 has always had an aesthetic, he always has beautiful words/statements in which he tends to think of carefully. He is someone filled with sentiment and meaning. If you watch him closely as I have, you would know that along with hiphop, this style is also apart of who he is wholeheartedly. Watch his twinkle twinkle CYZJ performance, he is filled with
aesthetic.

Omg this is so beautiful. It's summarized how Minghao found himself again.

He's having a hard time when he first debuted, struggle with languanges, his confidence, and so on. People expect him to be that cute foreign member of the group, and that's how he maintain the image in the early age of seventeen. But as he overcome his struggle, he's starting to have more confidence and he's expressing himself more, you could notice the change in Don't Wanna Cry era. He embrace himself and found strength from it. The Minghao we know today, the person who create this stunning performance, is Minghao who knows the value of his life and his own opinion. The Minghao he afraid to show to the public before, but the Minghao we all love and admire.

I always love him for he being himself. There's nothing more valuable than when artist show his true self to his fans, it's the biggest reward for him and for us.

I feel like Seventeens ties to art is something really underrated like yes they're performers who aid in their performances creation but aside from that their love for creation is beautiful and very apparent. Their love for photography, filmography, painting, drawing, designing, clothes altering, hair styling, writing, calligraphy, cooking, styling, acting, reading, upcycling and more just shows how much they desire to observe and alter the world around them, had their idol careers not worked out I don't doubt many would still find their ways back into the arts. It's videos like this that remind me how much they love the process of creation and honestly its inspiring.

his contemporary is absolutely gorgeous, and i think what i love most about it is that you can see the influence from his b-boy style in much of his floor work. he was able to marry these two styles in such a fluid and powerful way, and that's what makes him one of the best dancers. the fact that he never trained contemporary is genuinely so astounding to me as well. he's such a special gift

as a professional contemporary dancer, I really believe that Minghao is one of the best dancers in all of kpop. he's so versatile in all styles, his artistry/facial expressions back up all of the cool tricks he can physically pull off, his textures and lines are actually not of this world. he's SUCH a treat to watch!

Contemporary would've been the last genre of dance that I would associate with The8 but he completely OWNED that! He uses his strengths and agility from b-boying and hip hop and made a work of art that is only for The8. No one can execute this piece but him💜

It makes me really happy when I see minghao getting the kind of attention he deserves and that he's putting in the work to pursue this. I just hope other members will get the opportunity to showcase their talents personally as well. Like, giving them solo songs in an album or something, but seeing them as a group really is something that most people and groups cannot achieve. their performance is amazing. Not just dance, but their rap, vocals, and their expressions and effort within those performances is amazing. I think seventeen is one of the most outstanding groups in kpop honestly.

The way that Minghao dedicates to art, to develop and show himself, is really inspirational. I only have time now to carefully watch this performance for the second time, and find myself shed tears for it. From an artist's perspective, I'm touched by him and can't wait to see and feel more. Yet from a Carat's point of view, I can't say how much I'm proud of how he has been blooming, not just about the techniques he's learned but also about the emotional side that he dares to express. It's time for the world to see the potential and beauty that these 13 boys convey through their talent.
Carats always say that Seventeen is SEVENTEEN but when will carats become CARATS? It is not only to say that you are proud of your group, but also to make others recognize it. SEVENTEEN is a group that deserves all the appreciation of the world. It is very difficult to find true artists today and carats have the joy of having SEVENTEEN.

Minghao actually mentioned in one of his Yizhibo live last year that he was learning Contemporary dance and Folk (民族) dance, because he thought they suited his style. The choreographers for this dance besides him are eminent choreographer (Park) contemporary dancer (Cho) in South Korea. This is not to discredit the fact that he is the main drive and mastermind behind this artistic masterpiece and how courageous and inspirational it is of him to explore different artistic fields in a quest to improve himself every day, but I feel the need to clarify that what we are seeing is a result of thoughtful and tenacious deliberation, talent, and of course, hard work.

Seventeen is the only group that can move me the way they do. I’m here crying over a video that’s less than 2 minutes long bc minghao’s talent of telling a story with the way he moves hit my core. Seventeen is more than music to me; they’re a never ending (aju nice) experience.
