The 8th Annual "TOM WAITS - GET BEHIND THE MULE: A BENEFIT FOR SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK"
The annual event is the brainchild of visual artist (and veteran The Basement doorman) David Noel. The artists tend to show up "in character" and have always donated their performances with fresh spins on songs written by legendary songwriter-performer Tom Waits. Over the years, the benefit has collected more than $4,000 so that others might eat. Proceeds from the door collection will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.
