I just picked up my copy like a week ago mate and love it. I can't believe how sharp and contrasty this glass is! It's my first f1.4 and although heavy I feel it is a specialty glass and gives you a special look. weight is doable for Portraits its not the kind of glass you want to carry around all day, but when you bring it out you better watch out. As always great images and video David. Well worth owning in my opinion.

Great shots! I find it real interesting how photographers use post production to display how they see the final image. I see you like to warm things up. Do you find that adds the "pop" factor? Or do you just like the look of the warmer skin tones?

I like your review, but I really think that you need to test dancers or some other very fast paced topics to test the combo. An a7II from 2014 can handle the situation where a beautiful lady in standing still shown in this video without big problems.

I would love to see the 135mm. I have an 85mm and i think the focal range is too close

David it looks like the lens is great. I noticed that you had to tip toe to get some shots, you may need to get some lifts.

Is there a7iii or a9 IBIS works well on sigma 105 art? Coz the lens is have the same heavy with 70-200mm?

Awesome shoot. Fantastic lens and beautiful model. I got the impression that she felt a little uncomfortable in the dress, but it didn’t show in the pictures at all. Definitely a lens I’ll be checking out.
