Since its inception, Data Mesh has received a surprisingly enthusiastic reception by the data community. The data community’s conversation has rapidly evolved from “what is Data Mesh and why should I care about it?” to “how to implement Data Mesh and how to do it right?”. The technology vendors have largely embraced the paradigm and have shared how to adopt their existing technologies in a mesh-compatible way. The innovator and lead adopters have begun to reshape their organization, services and data responsibilities aligned with Data Mesh and started to share their lessons learned.
