This presentation fails to mention that every wind turbine and every solar panel is completely manufactured and built with fossil fuels. And they only last about 25 years before they have to be built again.

Don't forget when you try and resolve an issue, it doesn't always work out the way you imagine it. Airplanes run on Jet fuel a carbon emitting petroleum product and Jet fuel is not unleaded. So there goes vacationing, K in Honolulu. Electric cars, alright, but electricity doesn't turn the tires or lubricate the chassis, oil and gas petroleum products do. 'Whether its a oil/gas petroleum product or a rubber compound, its still required in your vehicle operation.

Last time I checked, electricity runs through electrical cables, which rely heavily upon fossil fuels to make, so no viable way to get electricity from one place to another.

Rubber is heavily reliant upon fossil fuels (including tires). Electric vehicles rely on both.

Electronic devices (from refrigerators to stoves to calculators to iphones and androids) all require fossil fuels.

Right now, over 6, 000 items are made with fossil fuels.

This also includes the very air quality filters that are used to clean the air we breathe and the water we drink.

Anyone who thinks this country can eliminate fossil fuels is crazy.
