Once you get the paper check you can pay up the home insurance. Give the insurance company your mortgage information and next year it will escrow again.

Yeah, I used to write insurance for Allstate. They have an amazing incentive for policyholders to save 25% when the auto and home are bundled. It sucks when you split them and lose that discount. Glad you were able to get a lower home insurance premium.
