Hello thanks for your comparisons. To me the sm57 with the a2ws windscreen sounds better than the sm58 out of the box. Sm57 is less nasal and less muddy and much clearer! Cheers from Italy!

The majority of presidential speeches use this microphone and wind screen set up, yet typically they use dual Sm57s. And then if you go back to 70s era a lot of live singers would utilize that set up as well, sm57with the foam when screen

Would you recommend using this mic at a 45 degree angle or straight on aimed up like you have it.

Great video ! Im definitely was looking into getting a sm57. I do have a question tho, I currently got my hands on a Sony F-112 and was curious if you knew anything about it or could tell me if it would work for a streaming purpose/vocals in general. Thank you in advance ^-^
