something i just don't agree with here, is the no deepslate thing, I understand what you saying however, say hive does hive things where you blocks just stop placing and u fall into the void, you never know if someone is at your base at that exact time. and most times people just don't buy pickaxes so it would do u a lot of good, and even if they do have 1 that few seconds it would take them is time for u to already die to the void to have a chance to fight them off insted of jut dyin to the void, and in terms of efficiency, most times it better to rush mid after first rush to get the upgrades, 9 time out of time after u put deep on your bed go mid and come back there is 4 diamonds waiting for u already, and if not getting regen and a diamond pickaxe would be doing just the same
