The Tilmor Power Ox is the perfect tool for cultivating small to mid-size vegetable farms. The Power Ox can quickly adapt to a variety of cultivation tools such as finger weeders, basket weeders, tine weeders, and a variety of vegetable knives. The Power Ox is designed to work with the same tools that were designed to work with the Planet Jr. walk behind tractors that were discontinued in the 1960’s.

I don't know when the Tilmor came along, but, the Planet Jr. equipment came along during the Great Depression.  And less money spent to construct meant a lower price and more people could afford it.  Plus it was used by people who were farming 1 - 2 acres.  So the question is:  How much did the Planet Jr cost vs how much did the Tilmor cost.   Now what about the BCS, especially the diesel one?

Wow, you weigh 270#, lol. I haven't gotten to run one yet, but the new Tilmor tractor is where the old & new came together as one unit, for the future of smaller market gardens. Another beauty i see is that it accepts all the old school planet toolbars and tooling, along with most any of the new modern stuff, so you cant lose in the battle with weeds. Multiple setups of weed slayer machines are your best, safest defense against your crops being over run. Death to
