Haddon Hall, an English Medieval Manor House. Situated in the Peak District of Derbyshire.

With time on our hands we visited Haddon Hall. Set on the River Wye near Bakewell in Derbyshire it was the former seat of the Dukes of Rutland. The origins of the Hall date back to the 11th century. The exquisite gardens were lovely on the day we visited.

What a beautiful place.
The chapel is really interesting with the images on the walls.
The hall and the portraits in the wood are so cool.
We love visiting places like this so full of history and stories.

Hi Martyn and Ellen love this fantastic video. We would like to visit Hadden Hall and hopefully will do so as we intend to join Historic Houses later in year after our English Heritage expires.
