I just bought the C40 dual motor model as a leftover from 2023 and only paid $32k. After trading in my old ICE vehicle, price cane down to $21k. I absolutely love it. Its my first EV and has been nothing but enjoyable to drive. Its also one of the nicest looking EVs on the road IMO.

And the central tunnel - sure, not as convenient as without it. But it is not only the consequence of the same platform for EVs and ICE. It is the place to store more battery ) Few range more is still critical option for EVs.
