Our adventure in Georgia continues, we invite you to watch a new episode.
On the 10th day of our wonderful adventure, on July 26, Monday, we left Tbilisi to visit two incredible canyons. In the afternoon we reach Okatse Canyon. This canyon offers us the most spectacular scenery. We walked a few kilometers, in Dadiani historical forest. A 780 m long hanging cliff trail stretches over the canyon. Anyone who suffers from altitude sickness can overcome this phobia. The fear of heights disappears when you discover the amazing views. After we visit Okatse Canyon we left to the other main attraction in the area. In the evening we arrived in Martvili we manage to find an accommodation, before the storm came, which has been following us for some time. The next day we explore the surroundings of the canyon along with a local guide. Finally on the third day morning we succeed to visit the canyon itself. Martvili Canyon is one of Georgia's most popular attractions. Around the canyon, the forest with dense vegetation and the humidity create the feeling of a tropical forest. The Abasha River cut a canyon deep into the rocks, forming an amazing gorge. Due to the storm, the river was much too turbulent, and they don't organized boat trip in this case.. Even so the waterfalls in the canyon offer an unforgettable spectacle.
