Thank you ABTabi for sharing an awesome design. I agree with many people that the fade-in transition of the original design is a tad too fast. The fade-out transition is just right for me. The solution I found that suits my liking was to serialise 2x 22k resistors to make fade-in a tad slower. Not that the original speed not good. I'm sure it would be great for some applications.

With this version, I leave it switch on and connect the power supply the light fades in and the light stay on. When I remove power supply, the light is off without fading out. Could you please suggest what to do to get the fade-out effect after removing power supply?
