CLAY COUNTY, MN (iNewZ.TV) We have a few more details regarding a deer hunting accident in Clay County, Minnesota on this Saturday morning. The Sheriff says the subject was air lifted from the scene to a Fargo hospital. No word on their condition. The Sheriff now says the victim was a 34-year old male from Dilworth, Minnesota.

8am in the morning on opening day? I wonder if it was accidental self inflicted? No one would be doing drives that early on opening morning. And 8am is light enough that he likely wasn't mistaken for a deer by another hunter. Terrible regardless.

Prayers for the Victim and his family!! Gun safety sometimes has play but not always!!! The slug could have traveled through some brush on the field. People right away get carried away with control and safety being the issue. Calm down people!!!
