I suck at baking. I'm the kind of guy who can screw up a simple cookie recipe even after watching multiple videos of someone else doing it perfectly.

Yet somehow, I'm able to get the recipe right from Divas Can Cook. I just made this cornbread recipe and it came out PERFECT. This isn't the first time I use a recipe from you guys either.

Thank you for teaching poor me how to manage my kitchen a little better.

I have used this recipe 3 times already. It never fail me. It's so good. The first time 2 times I made it I did not add the honey in the cornbread mix and it was still sooo good, perfectly sweet and very light and fluffy. Today when I made it I didn't have all the ingredients and too lazy to go out. So I used water and canned coconut milk, Coconut sugar and the honey this time. It tasted bout the same to be honest. Still very good. This is the only recipe I use now for my cornbread because even making substitutions, it still works. Thanks for sharing sis. YASSS QUEEN 👑👸🏾🙌🏾

This recipe was so delicious. I made it last night. I did also notice that having my specific stove made 450 degrees too high. I did as instructed and within 15 minutes the bottom and edges were already too dark but the center was not ready. I covered it with foil and baked another 10 minutes and it was ready to eat after spreading the honey butter which was a wonderful touch to the cornbread. My husband loved it so much that he was ready to have buttermilk and cornbread for the next day even after having seconds. I will consider dropping my stove to 350. Great Recipe! Thumbs up!

I've actually always preferred sweet cornbread over savory, so this recipe is definitely a winner.

People who argue over sweet vs savory cornbread are silly. Certain kinds go better with certain foods. It just depends on what you like.

This is hands down thee best cornbread I’ve ever made. So tender and moist. I topped with regular butter because I need to watch my sugar, and it was still amazing!

My grandmother always put molasses in her cornbread & I liked it better than any cake.She would then reward any leftovers for breakfast and serve it with homemade strawberry jam and a cup of hot tea or coffee amazing!

You are just the cutest...and one fantastic Growing up in eastern NC, I was more accustomed to fried cornbread and hushpuppies, but I like the baked CB too. Gotta try this recipe. So glad I found your just discovered you a few weeks ago, and girl, you changed me completely when it comes to greens. I am as southern as can be, but have lived to be 76 years old without cooking greens much at all. Never cared that much for collards and NEVER ate turnip greens. A neighbor gave me some beautiful, fresh turnip I went to YouTube....found your recipe and cooked 'em. Omigosh!! They were so Then I cooked collards for New Year's Day your way. So now I'll be trying many more of your recipes. I'm sure you are helping new cooks, but you're also teaching old dogs new tricks!! LOL Thank you so much!!!!
