Hypermag is my first caster reel, I love it. Using 20lb braid with leader. I pond fish and can bomb it out there.

I've heard good things about this reel. Price is more than I usually spend on a reel too. Between this one, and the Zillion, if I had to choose one, I'd choose the Zillion. Appreciate the bank view reel performance video.👊

I will say Daiwa and Lew’s and definitely up there for great reels. Anyone wanted to get their first baitcaster, Lews LFS. Best $100 reel on the market. If you wanna spend the extra money, get a Daiwa. I’ve heard the Lew’s BB1 is a great cranking reel but I don’t have one so I can’t say anything

Ya TJ that was a pretty color bass u caught. I enjoy watching bank fishing videos since I dont have a boat yet. I have been thinking of possibly getting a go pro etc to record my fishing. Your camera system is very clear picture, good lens zoom and voice clarity. What brand & model do you use to record your fishing?

I have a 21 zillion and the previous gen hyper mag. The hyper mag casts farther and is smoother. The zillion skips better for me.

Hypermag is a serious reel. It’s definitely up there with the daiwas and Shimano. The brand warriors will fight for theirs no matter what. I just like trying gear.

The last Legs I had maybe three years ago.

The plate for the magnetic drag system once again fell off this time into the water. Luckily it was only two feet deep

I took the reel home put the magnetic control about half way and super glued the plate back on and gave it to my neighbor who was short on money but wanted a baitcaster to try out for the first time. Heck of a reel when the plate stayed on.

Yup this yr in pa had been tough me and my buddy haven’t caught much of anything I’ve been on a drought this whole month… I’m not sure what’s been going on between the ponds and lakes I fish there no grass where usually they get over loaded idk if that has something to do with it or what and it’s not like I’m seeing dead fish to think something up with the water so I have no clue

Hypermags are decent reels but not even close to a zillion. Daiwa makes the best reels on the planet and it’s not even close.
