If you have a Dr. Seuss fan in the family there is no better place than Seuss Landing at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure to get your fix of all things Seuss! From the High in the Sky Trolley Train Ride to One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and Caro-Seuss-el, Seuss Landing has all of the fun, colors, silliness and thrills you’ve come to expect from the famous author. There are even Seuss character meet-and-greets!

One of Seuss Landing’s most popular attractions has got to be The Cat in the Hat. Based on the beloved children’s book, the Cat in the Hat ride will take riders on a spin with the famous cat character as you ride your couch through the pages of Dr. Seuss’s popular children’s book. Just like in the book you’ll bump and thump through the house causing quite a mess of things. But before the Cat in the Hat leaves and mother comes home you have to make sure the house is cleaned up, so you’ll take another adventure putting everything back in place. The ride is so well done you’ll actually feel like you stepped right into the pages of the book. But it’s what comes after the ride that really will get you excited!

After you trash and then clean up the house with the Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2 you’re invited to a Dr. Seuss character met-and-greet in the back of the Cat in the Hat attraction. And who exactly will you get the chance to meet? Well Thing 1 and Thing 2 of course, as well as Cat in the Hat, the Grinch, the Lorax and more! Feel free to pose with and snap photos with your favorite Seuss character.

Meanwhile, Seuss Landing also offers the Circus McGurkus Seussian Sing-a-Long. Inside the Circus McGurkus Café and Theater, you can join Ringmaster McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1, Thing 2, and others for lunch. You can clap and sing along during the show and then meet your favorite Seuss characters afterwards!

It’s also worth mentioning that Seuss characters appear throughout the park periodically. Keep an eye out for your favorite!
The Seuss Character Zone is located in Seuss Landing. Some of the characters you can meet include Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, Sam I Am, the Lorax, and the Grinch. The best time to meet these characters is after a performance of Oh! The Stories You'll Hear.
