Just have me crying right with you why don't you. Your momma will always be my other momma. I have watched her, listened to her and been there for a lot of those moments. Honesy I can say I seen her struggle but she held you and James down and everything around her like a boss. She did all she could and stood when she done all she knowed to do. Now she can go in peace and love because she did her part and sooo much more. I will always love y'all no matter the distance or time. 😘

I’m normally not a commenter but this really hit home. I was in the same position as your Mama. I stayed with my now ex for 26 yrs. just until after our last son turned 18 & had graduated from H.S. And that was it me and me & my boys moved out & into our own place. I didn’t want to go & put my boys thru all the mess of divorce & so forth. And now today I’m blessed with 4 beautiful grandbabies & my Sons have beautiful families. And we are so very close. PD we love your momma. My momma has been in Heaven since 1991 and your momma reminds me of mine. I love to see her in the blogs. My momma raised 7 beautiful people one that was very sickly. My dad was there but ain't nothing like a momma. Praying for you all. God is in control always.

When mine were little I used to hide all the gifts and Christmas Eve I would spend hours drinking margaritas and wrapping gifts until all hours of the morning!! No. More!! I get a gift for one of my kids, wrap it immediately and put them under the tree. Everyone is color coded each year with their own wrapping paper in their color so they know whose gifts are whose. I love these wrap and chats every year from you!! We love ya girl!!!

Page your vulnerability is crazy brave. I could always tell that you have been through things but I could tell that you have tried to be your best self and have your dad love you and I think you have had body image issues because of it (although you don't speak of it). I want you to KNOW you are loved and that what you and Cody are doing and the foundation that you are laying for your babies is beautiful! Many of us can relate and know exactly where you are coming from. Being from Southern VA I know what it's like for being to STAY together and not be happy and I am SO happy and proud of you (i know your mama is too) for you breaking generational curses and building and communicating a life of love and laughter. Y’all some strong ladies. I hope this helped you. I had no idea about the situation. I mean I think I speak for most of us we knew he was sick, but I personally had no idea of the relationship part. You did so well on respecting your parents privacy. I commend you for that. Not once have I heard you complain in the past about your childhood. That shows that mama did above and beyond with what she had available to her. She should be so proud of herself for bringing you and your brother up the way she did. You share what you want to share it bothers me that you felt in some way pressured to explain yourself.
