Larissa and Volos are the two biggest cities of central Greece and Thessalia region. A normal gauge line connects them, holding a local character. The line is undergoing reconstruction and electrification works will soon start.

Colorful and intricate decoration may be an important symbol of this city. After reconstruction and electrification, I hope to maintain this nice design.

I am also grad to watch how the inside of local train in Greece is. I think the interior comfort of European railway is much better tha one of us (Recently, the local trains has tried to improved ride quality).

I have a question. Why is the deadhead train hauled by different diesel locomotive without running on own? It is curious scene that diesel locomotive hauls other locomotive with passenger cars, I think.
