I love the title of this jam, as it not only implies that this boss has friends, but that it clearly states you are NOT one of them.

If I had a nickel for every indie RPG that had a spider boss accompanied by funky dance music, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

I love the Tubba Blubba vibes this song gives off.

I, too, thought it seemed too peppy, but after some listening, the driving, aggressive bass guitar sample still gives it this 'advancing' feeling, like the music is illustrating Spuder creeping closer.
It's still intimidating, but in this cartoonish, jazzy sort of way. I love it!

I love how there’s different boss themes but if this was the only one I wouldn’t complain, it’s that good.

I gotta admit, Listening to this song makes me want to do two things.

1. Fight a giant spider
2. Dance

Whether I do these separately or at the same time ends up depending on what my schedule for this Tuesday is.

Forever the theme of realizing “Oh shoot, this game doesn’t hold punches”
Seriously though, I was shocked to have issues with even the first boss, but the pure strategy and fun embedded in the combat made fighting this guy so satisfying and worthwhile. Plus, it was hard to get tired of the fight when this song slaps so hard.

Why does every game with a spider boss have awesome music for it?

As a Paper Mario fan I'm so glad I decided to pick this game up. It's everything I could have wanted but with even more depth on top of it and the writing for Vi, Kabuu and Leif is stellar. It also helps that the OST is full of absolute bangers like this

I admit the first encounter I wasn’t nuts over the song, but then when they fought him again at the end of the cave I was super into it. Weird. Now I love it. This game has been super fun and I’m only in Chapter 2. Paper Mario vibes are intense throughout so far.
