I love me some d&d! and I wanted to do this video for a really long time, and I've been running out of stuff to do for now, but I hope this was an enjoyable video at least, if it does well I can make more, just ask in the comments bellow what you'd like to see and I'll be happy to work on that kind of video. I still think that Kayn's definitely a Hexblade Warlock, I mean... Rhaast literally IS what a Hexblade is. But I can totally see him going multiclass. Perhaps he only finds Rhaast later in the campaign so he actually starts of as a monk (would make sense, if you ask me).

I Would make it with unofficial things, Kayn is a human rogue or monk, with a normal height, with a scythe he uses with two hands, that deal 2d6 damage and has the finesse property. Once per day, he makes a DC 18 wisdon saving throw, on a fail the darkin inside the scythe dominates, his aligniment changes to chaotic evil, his height changes to 2, 48m and he becomes a barbarian fiend, and the scythe gains the versatile(2d8) property

Very cool Video, like your Explanations and Thoughts on how to go about making Kayn a D&D Character. I recently got into D&D and i´d love to use that sometime, not exactly like you but a variation. Thanks for the elaboration on it. Really nice Guide to make an interesting character and it really would be cool if you make a Series out of this. It would be a good Content Filler aside from your Dubs.

Honestly, the monk pick is perfect for Kayn, the thing is, since Multiclass exists, he could still very much get the Warlock path for the inevitable Pact of the Blade, and summon forth Rhaast! (Some kind of power hungry demon?)

I just started a campaign with Guildmasters of ravnica, I know the setting has a plane of nothing but city but i started them outside of the city. I definitely thought about Kayn being a nice character for House of Dimir. I got super excited that you mentioned this at the end of you video and now I think I will add him as an NPC :). Maybe the Darkin Sythe can be a old Rakdos artifact!

Personally I think kayns Constitution should be higher, due to the fact that he is stopping Rhaast from overtaking him via raw willpower and constitution. His con stat if it were accurate to the lore would be a 20 from start lol. But this is very good.
