Made Here Made Well presents Kennedy Manufacturing

Kennedy has been manufacturing tool boxes, mechanics' chests and machinists' chests in the USA since 1911.

Journeymen to apprentices. Fathers to sons. What compels all of them to hand their Kennedy onto the next generation? It's simple. Every detail of the Kennedy line is manufactured to last decade after decade, from the impeccable choice of materials to how each chest's drawers are lined with felt.

In an era where most tool boxes and chests are now made overseas, every product with the Kennedy name is still proudly made by hand in Van Wert, Ohio.
When was the last time you stood back and admired a tool box for its beauty? Order a Kennedy and we guarantee it'll be the first and last time you do.

At 70, I now own a model 256. I was over whelmed that the chest was in my recent 2023 tool buy out. The quality still shiny's and stands out. Once i pass, will become part of my Will that it remains in the Marcy Family for decades to come. Hope to make a trip to visit the plate one day, and was added to my bucket list here on July 18th 2023. Bears Rod Shop, Hoobyist machinist from TX & YT.

This is a fantastic channel. I wish they still put out content or put out lists of people making great products in the USA.

I have my dad’s old 7 drawer top chest that he gave me when I started my apprenticeship as a tool and die maker. Saved up some money for about 6 months and then bought my 7 drawer roller (20 years ago). Both of them are bulletproof and I will never let them leave the family. Awesome tool storage units! Well worth every penny spent on

My father gave me a Kennedy tool box for my 16th birthday. I liked it very much but for years thought he had bought it used and that it was previously owned by a person that had painted his name "Kennedy" on it. To this day, 47 years later, I still charish that box. Thank you for such a great product.

Love my Kennedy Machinist tool box I bought at a garage sale from the son in law of a 40+ year employee of Boeing! It weighs a ton and is missing the drawer covers, but is still a great box!

Love their boxes. I bought a brand new K20b when I finished my apprenticeship schooling. Also have a CS-16 I bought at an antique store and soon will be having a cantilever style box to be added soon.

Great products. Bought one used off a retiring machinist today. Said he bought it 35 years ago and just isn't using it anymore. Had he bought a lesser toolbox I'm sure it wouldn't have made it to retirement. I'm 34 and this thing looks and feels as if I just might be selling it myself when I retire.

My Dad gave me the box that his older brother owned. I still have it. Still looks pretty good. Needs a little corrosion control and some oil here and there, but it still works fine. Still one of the best products ever made in the good old USA! One complaint on one box in over 59 years? Outstanding!

No doubt, these are among the best tool chests ever made. I inherited my dad's and it is still in fine shape. He used it for forty years. I reckon i can get another forty or more from it. The finish is still good except for a few nicks and scratches here and there. The drawers work smoothly and the lock still locks. The lid still fits perfectly despite thousands of openings and closings. The top handle show no sign of letting go even though this thing has been carried to countless jobs, four different shops and has made several trips across country. I guess this box is now about as old as I am and I'm fixin' to retire soon.

But I agree with Yan Wo. The music is too loud and probably unnecessary.
