Desert warfare was awesome! No cover, no place to run, and no option other than to kill or be killed. As the men taking gut-shots from those heavy machine guns can attest. Man, those slugs are gonna leave a mark!

The men that take their bullets, spread their arms and lay back to die so dutifully at 1:35 are awesome, as well as the dumb but handsome soldier who simply stares and waits to get shot in the gut. Good men, great clip!

Love how the 'Afrika Korp' officer just stands and does no shooting during the firefight, except for presenting himself as a target. Bad idea.

Damn, if folks only knew what carnage a .50 cal would do to men and what those two .30 cals would do to that Jeep and the guys in the Jeep! People would never watch another war movie if they knew and saw the truth.
