Microscopy - Oomycetes?

I viewed what looked like a cluster of eggs inside a dead Rotifer...but these were moving. After some investigation these maybe Oomycetes which are a fungus spore which are what caused the great potato famine in Ireland many years ago. I just don’t know how or why they would be inside a dead Rotifer? If anyone has any ideas on what these might be, or if I am correct in my assessment, let me know.
