The Brilliance and Legacy of Basement's 'Covet'

Basement, a Post-Hardcore group from the UK has been around for over a decade now, with several releases under their belt. Despite this long run, one of their most popular songs to this day remains "Covet" off of their second LP, "colourmeinkindness." Today I look at why this may be the case, and why I personally love the song so much.

You actually got the chords wrong, you mentioned the tuning of the song is Drop C#. Yet, your chords are named like the guitar is in standard tuning. I think the chords are actually E5, C# octave while hammering on and pulling off on that 8th fret, and then a G#5 followed by a B5. The exact chords might be wrong but the roots are probably right. Just wanted to let you know!
