Im Australian with heritage from Belfast Protestant and Wicklow Catholic, the world would love to see it and even Protestant in the north would like to see it, I know the Republican Irish would. Billy Bingham really disgraced himself that night. An otherwise decent career ended in a shameful and bitter legacy. The NI players on the other hand were all very sporting and decent. They realised what qualification meant to their fellow professionals. On the field the match was played in a good spirit. The crowd were rabid and obnoxious from what I could hear. The RUC did a good job in protecting the Irish players.

I am Portuguese as a starting point. I will never understand that Northern presbiterians want Independence and with the Union Jack.
Northern Ireland should be an Independent country and not aggregate to the Queen.
Ulster should be a Republic or a province of Republic of Ireland.
